Datacenter Operations
The Datacenter Operations group installs, configures, monitors and maintains computer systems for the Medical Center. It manages over 100 servers located in different datacenters on the Medical campus.
Services
- Server and application hosting in the datacenters
- Server hardware and application health for all supported systems
- Network Directory sign-on services
- Campus e-mail systems, spam filters and other email protections
- Personal and shared network file services
- Virtual Server / Virtual Storage support
- Storage Area Networks
- Enterprise tape backup and disaster recovery/business continuity services
- Advice and assistance on server-related issues for School of Medicine staff and faculty
