Acrobat Connect (Webmeeting): Overview

Use your Medical ID credentials to log on to the Medical Center's secure "WebMeeting" platform and conference over the Web with colleagues at the Medical Center and around the world.  Invite "guests" (persons without Medical ID credentials) to participate in on-line meetings as well.

Features include:

• Conduct a person-to-person (or one-to-many) audio/video conference session using standard desktop computer webcams and a Web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or FireFox recommended).
• Collaborate and share files using a shared online "space."
• Share and control desktops of computers - even between Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Create in-session real-time polls for voting.
• Schedule video conference meetings using any email system.
• Create the look and feel of your video conference session however you like it.
• Audio/Video/Data use through this site is securely encrypted.

• Use video conferencing in conjunction with chat rooms to collaborate effectively (the session above depicts two individual video conferences, using a chat room and real-time polls to collaborate and share information.
