Entourage

Function

Microsoft Entourage is email software for Apple/Mac systems.  On the medical campus, Entourage is commonly used to access Exchange email.

Access

Entourage is client software that is installed on your Apple/Mac system.  We have a site license for Entourage 2004 and 2008 as a part of the Microsoft Office suite for the Mac.

You can also access Exchange email using a webmail utility called Outlook Web Access, that requires only a browser.  (It requires a Medical ID for authentication, as does use of Exchange.)

Entourage supports the IMAP email protocol for communication with Exchange.  (MAPI is available only for Outlook client users.)
