Function

CaneCare is a hybrid medical record system -- a stepping-stone to a fully electronic medical record -- that provides access to an electronic patient chart from any location using a web browser.  It expands upon and replaces the OTG document management system. 

Access

 This system is available to anyone who has obtained the appropriate training from the Department of Clinical Enterprise Technologies and received an associated logon ID and password to access clinical information.  This system is available only on the campus network or remotely if you have launched a secure network connection using Virtual Private Networking.

Additional considerations

 Note that your computer will need to have a small Java application installed.  Follow the links on the site above to test whether your system needs the Java applet installed.
