Atomic clock (2006).  NIST-F1, the nation's primary time and frequency standard, is a cesium fountain atomic clock developed at the NIST laboratories in Boulder, Colorado. Function

The Timekeeping and Attendance Collection System (TACS) -- also called Kronos Timekeeper -- is an automated system to collect time and attendance information from employees through the telephone system.  It is normally accessed via its telephone interface (use number above).

TACS/Kronos also includes a Web-based application where "timekeepers" (supervisors and managers) monitor and correct employee clocking activity.  (Use the link above).

Access

The telephone interface to the system uses your C-number as your user-ID.  The Web interface requires a unique user-ID and password assigned by the Payroll Department.
