Visit MyUM to keep your contact information current

Starting September 7, Human Resources (DHRS) data will be used to update the Global Address List (GAL) directory of the medical campus email system.  You can update your DHRS information by visiting MyUM.  If you haven't visited MyUM in a while, you'll be prompted to provide an emergency cell phone number.  This is used for emergency contact only; it is not published.  More >>

Know the benefits and risks of portable hard drives

The price of portable "external" hard drives has plummeted in the last few years.  You can now get hundreds of gigabytes for under a hundred dollars, and terabytes (thousands of gigabytes) for a few hundred dollars.  Should you rely on one of these drives?  Maybe.  But be aware of both the risks and benefits.
