McAfee VirusScan is an anti-malware application. 

Access

McAfee VirusScan is client software that must be installed on your personal computer.  VirusScan is the standard antivirus application for campus computing devices.We have a site license for it.

Additional considerations

As with anti-spyware, it is critical to keep anti-virus "signatures" updated. 

Unlike with anti-spyware, only a single anti-virus program should be installed on a computer.  You must remove any prior version of any other anti-virus client software, before installing McAfee VirusScan.
