Function

Calder Library, on the Medical campus, provides access to an extensive collection of on-line journals and other electronic resources through its Web site.   These resources are licensed to be used by all Medical School faculty, staff and students.

Because of licensing restrictions, off-campus (remote) use of some resources is more restricted, or requires additional connection procedures as detailed below.

Access

Users accessing some electronic resources from off-campus must provide a name and "bar-code" for access using the Library's EZProxy service.  To obtain a bar-code (on a sticker that will be affixed to your employee or student ID) visit the Calder circulation desk.

For some functionality (such as saving searches for some collections) you may also need to log in using your "Ovid" userid and password.  Ovid userids and passwords can be requested by email.

Documentation

Available on the Calder Library Web site.
